@ShufflerMatt This music doesn't really fit into a specific genre. It's the typical amalgam of pop music and jazz that the early TV shows in the '50s usually featured. Keely Smith was an excellent singer but Louis Prima was nothing more than an annoying loudmouth.

WHAT GENRE OF MUSIC WOULD THIS BE CALLED? LIKE OLD FIFTYS JAZZ?
-
Memorable..... such vitality, musicality, verve and je ne sais quoi

Keely - what a voice!

I always wanted to wear my hair like Keely-look at my profile pic and see what you think! I love this song

This is what real artists used to sound like, what performers, love it. I'm a young-in too (40's).

Keely is such a dynamite singer!

I've heard some of Keely Smith's records, including this one, but I've never seen her, never knew what she looked like until I found this clip - just amazing, thanks
Love the two of them together. They simply don't make performers like that anymore. (Side note: That's my great uncle playing the trombone ^^)
