@sparepartworld so my mac is now running hdd...can i put a ssd to replace it?
-
My only tech question is where did they get the ultra hip Bollywood music?
-
@sparepartworld Acer Aspire 9423wsmi. I bought a "Laptop PC SSD IDE HDD SATA 44 Pin" adapter, it plugs on my SSD, the other side plugs into the notebook, but 1- its size prevents the notebook panel from closing and 2- the computer won't boot, it stays frozen at the BIOS boot screen.

Oh wow, you have to put the ssd into the same case? And there's an adapter? Thanks, you probably just saved me from destroying my laptop like an idiot. xD

LOL we have the same laptop.

@xkube3 Best thing to look for is the warranty! Make sure it's a reputable dealer! Like Tiger Direct. DVNation said mail it back to China. Where in China? What will it cost? $97 and that's before insurance. They also told me to insure it for $5. And best of all No RMA! Said I didn't need one. Best of luck, you will love the speed!
I need this kind of adapter, what reference is it, where can one find it ?

that don't care how many GB the HDD have and from witch supplier it is!
It only must be a SATA and 2,5"!!!
The HDD in this video is a SSD. Thats the new technology. This SSD have no spinning, it's like a big fast USB-Stick. So you don't here it (cause it haves on spinning), it's super shortweight and when the SSD crush on the floor, nothing hapend, the SDD don't get damaged as easy as a normal HDD!
