  • Indeed is would be once it a life time trip. I am still in training for my private licence. I look forward to flying down the Atlantic coast line. Toronto to Florida. How many years have you been flying and how many hours? Did you fly commercial plane?

  • @espn168 I have my licence 32 years (only private) with lots of hours

.I wish you all the best for Your licence, You are lucky as flying in Your country is much cheaper than in Europe. To Forida from Toronto is certainlly a good trip! I Much luck!

  • Michael, thanks for the prompt reply. It's quite a journey. Fly to Toronto Canada next time. I live just a few km away from Buttonville (YKZ). you and your wife would be welcome to stay with us and see the city. I would love to see the Mooney!!

  • @espn168

Hello, thanks for the invitation. A flight across the North Atlantic with a single engine aircraft needs a lot of preparations and it is for pilots, such as me, something special, I would do it again, but my wife hesitates. .So for me this flight probably was a flight 'once a live'.. Are You a pilot? I don't want to bore You, I uploaded other videos of this trip which you can find under: mooneypilot.de

For IFR it was necessary to apply for a slot i about 4 weeks.in advance. I did not know exat date and time of arrival 4 weeks before arrival in Oshkosh. So change to VFR was an advice by ATC for all incomming traffic without a slot.

    Michael

  • Why do you have to turn off your IFR?

  • I like this 'airventure', conducted and presented as if it were a trip, just longer than usual.

    Nice Pilot and Co-Pilot Job!
