Today I divulge that it has been a rough week for raw food. I think I got into holiday mode with the short 4th of July week, but I did way more snacking on junk food than I imagined I'd be doing at this point in the challenge.

Not discouraged, though. I'm back on track, and looking forward to a clean week of raw living.

  • Notice how raw foods keep us coming back - cause we feel so much better when we eat them?

    I feel it is better to eat that bite of nilla wafer or chip rather than end up with a craving so strong.. that it takes a bag of them to satisfy the taste buds. And 90% raw is far better than not raw at all. I plan a holiday a month to eat 1 thing that isn't raw and this gives me something to look forward to.. although I'm always pleased getting back to the raw foods. I'm ready for Aug 100 day challenge.

  • Boy if I could just do a nilla wafer here and a potato chip there I'd be a queen! I go OFF with whole meals!! Pizza especially. But the next day I crave raw again. Today was all raw for me without trying. Probably because I had veggie pizza last night. All's good! Overall, I'm doin' just fine and SO ARE YOU! You look fabulous! It beats the way we used to eat, huh?

  • it's so hard when those temptations are in the house for other family members...

    that is my downfall too.

  • oh yeah, holidays are tough ... family & so much stuff around ... it can be hard to resist eating what everyone else eats ... but you're looking SO good ... so keep it up :) xoxo

  • There ya' go. What a week for me as well. I just finished a marathon of all your videos and appreciate your candor, dedication and honesty. I am adding more raw foods and green smoothies to my day and notice that I feel so light and comfortable on the days I am willing to avoid cooked/processed foods. Thank you again for your vlog. :)

  • You are so in tune with your body!!! I love it! I notice if I get to much refined sugar in me...(I LOVE 7/11 hot chocolate)!!!!

    I tend to feel the sugar low hit me like a ton a bricks! Its intense so it snaps me into shape again. Need to bust the purse and buy some raw chocolate and get over myself! lol!
