@HugeEgo124, lol there usually is a lot more pressure on women to be thin than there is men plus its a lot more common for women to have eating disorder than men.

@NylonStrings...How could Ms. Simpson not be overcome with emotion? Sitting opposite a young woman who obviously wasn’t getting help fast enough, while thinking of the harsh media criticism she endured for having a little meat on her bones. Society is cruel to women who don’t fit the image of magazine and runway models.

i like how the story the translator tells is completely false. isabelle wasn't modeling when she became anorexic; she was young. her anorexia was a product of a neglected childhood, and she didn't do the campaign to have it aimed to only models, it was to everyone and anyone. i don't think isabelle ever really modeled that much. and i don't know why they said her lowest weight was 86, when in reality it was 56.

It's really sad about her story, but I also want to make the comment that her translator looks amazingly beautiful. Just sayin'
