how do you tune a guitar half a step down?

Great question. I use a Korg CA-30 tuner and it allows me to tune to the sharp or flat. If you're not sure what I mean, just go to your local music store and ask them to show you a tuner that will help you do alternate tunings. In the end, your tuning will be (starting with the lowest to highest string): E flat, G sharp, C sharp, F sharp, B flat, E flat.
