No disrespect, I like your reviews very much!

But IMO if your opinion can be affected by a commentary even though you HAD THE FIGHT ITSELF RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES then IMO you are kinda easily manipulative.

I never even payed any attention on Rogan's comments and don't remember his single word yet I was SUPER SHOCKED with the decision

No disrespect, but IMO whoever thinks that it was DRAW let alone Machida's victory is simply extremely biased, bought or simply has not good knowledge of MMA

what i ultimately said was that i did not know who won that fight. the main reason that i watched the fight a second time was to see what i didn't during the live airing of the fight. my initial thought was that rua won the fight. watching the fight a second time, i saw a lot more stikes landed by machida that i didn't see before. after re-watching the fight, i don't feel that either did enough to win the fight and agree with you that the fight should have been a draw.

rogan had no influence on who i thought was doing better. i read that machida had said to re-watch the fight with the sound off and thought it might be a good idea. i was able to see the fight differently more due to the fact is that i could focus on what i didn't see watching it live.

I guess you and I watched two different fights then. Machita got beat up, plain and simple. When they announced that he had won, the entire crowd went off, Joe Rogan knew it also, hell look at Machita when he wins, he is shocked.

Ok so to be the man you got to BEAT the man. I agree, but he sure as hell did not lose to machita. Sorry but Rua won that fight on points and only a blind man would say different.

@VEGETADTX - well sed man. I scored da fight 48-47 for shogun. Shogun landed a few mor shots and did mor damage as wel (neither controlled da octagon more den da other) ... so I was shocked as well. but now we hav shogun vs. machida 2 t clear up all controversy surroundin da first fight.

A week before this fight, I said on message boards what Shogun needed to do. And everything I said he had to do, he did. I watched the fight 3 times (live and 2 times afterward), once with the sound off. Originally I had the fight 49-46 Shogun, but after seeing it twice I have it 48-47 Shogun. I just don't see in any way shape or form how Machida pulled it out, I don't buy championship advantage cuz if that's the case, Forrest would never have beaten Rampage.

@DaIVIaJa: how? yea, rua got in a lot of leg kicks and roughed up machida's face. but was machida knocked out? machida was able to rush shogun with shogun's back against the cage. my opinion is that the fight should be a draw, but machida got more points on octagon control and aggressiveness in this one. we will see what happens in the rematch.
