Hey man... sorry i'm so late on this, i really need your help atm. I'm stuck with a little problem regarding the curve we're using in this video. Mine wont stay straight unfortunately, therefore, when i go to straightening out my first curve and placing it, the next time i push E, my line ends up curved, any tip to fix that would be awesome... :D

Your tuts are brilliant. Many, many thanks

Okay so I don't have a center mouse button and I know that you can go to user preferences and emulate 3 button mouse then use ATL to move around and pan but how would you go about zooming in with emulate 3 button mouse on?
-
i try to press the middle mouse button but it dosent let me move

@XinmodicLoxnog Ctrl+Z to undo. Second most important short-cut you have. Ctrl+S is the most imporant. Happy blending!

When I select a face and press g, it will grab the whole geometry that face is part of, instead of extruding at first. I have to press e first to extrude, then cancel it with right click, then g gets me the "global direction" extrude.
This leads me to wonder, when I initialize an extrusion and then cancel it with right click, that face isn't really returned to a "flat" state on the object. It's primed for an extrusion, right?
How do I fully cancel the extrude for future reference?

Hello Chad, I wanted to encourage you a bit. I have been working in the 3D modeling industry for 5 years now, and starting out blender was nearly impossible to find resources for. Really great tutorial series you have going on, props to you!
cheers

@FEenergy I really appreciate your comment. I know what you mean. When I first picked up blender there were literally ZERO training resources out there. That's why I started Firechild Video. So others wouldn't be as stuck as the rest of us were in the early days. It truly humbles me that a fellow professional in the field would enjoy my work. I am quite honored. Thank you.
