hey guy i did one of the fenders and instead of stopping at the top i used a fid and carried it to the bottom looks alittle better with the cut and burn on bottom

Just made that fender key chain from 550 cord. Had to watch that video you linked to like 5 times to see what the hell he was doing, lol. I used for four strands instead of 6 also. I was going to see about getting a cork into that method, but I'll save that for later. I like the fender method better then most others, because it doesn't show the ends on the bottom

is something always used inside the "fist"? i thought they were just layer upon layer of cord? or is this an alternate way of doing it?

@RusStudios928 build a shelter, use the inner strands to make tinder, last resort tourniquet (?), juryrig your gear to carry miscellaneous objects, emergency garotte...
