Saw a film where Glenn Miller was talking jive The way they are singing! Miller Totally "WHITE". But showing respect for Blacks by indicating where all popular music mostly derive. Including, Country, Bluegrass, Big Band & Swing! Once called "JIVE". I've seen Blue Grassers, convert to straight Negro Spiritual & not mention the conversion. They don't know. But that is why EVA CASSIDY was so mind boggling. Mountain, Negro Spiritual.
