I'm a customer of Starbucks and a fan of their drinks, but I bet it's a hellish place to work. I feel sorry for their employees.

And they don't mention you get paid $8. For drinks that cost $5, you'd think they would make more. I wonder where that money goes? Hrm...

So that is why Starbucks is so expensive - You have to get through all the salaries for these managers just for a cup of coffee.

@hollyannewesley It's always busy there(lots of customers) and their employees are always working hard(for fear of losing their jobs), and the pay and benefits aren't that great. If you don't believe me, go to any Starbucks.

@Shukria123 so do i, the workers are nice, i just hate how part of the hiring process in canada and america is the number rule to have a up beat personality with a smile on 24 7..
