[HD] Blazer Crowd - "These Refs Suck"

(04.18.09) During the first meeting between the Blazers and the Rockets after a few questionable calls the crowd started to get pissed during the 4h quarter and instead of booing they decided to give their overall opinion of the officials.

Another ironic thing was David Stern was at the game so he witnessed all the glorious hate towards his lovely officials. I was apparently at this game but hit my head on the wall various times last night to forget it.

For the record though, Houston played a really good game and I do not blame the refs for the loss.

No one blamed the refs, most blazer fans are not in denial and clearly agree that the blazers played bad. But as for refs they were not consistent with calls all night but like I said, we lost because we played bad.

Ok let me get this straight Rudy got the ball and Lowry tries to get it and Rudy gets elbowed and falls then Lowry falls and gets the ref to call a foul on Rudy...maybe the NBA should get refs that hat basketball but not enough to call stupid shit but have no like for any team so they don't favor 1 over the other

What a glorious chant. I honestly don't care about either team, but I see the refs ruining so many perfectly awesome games that it made me feel a tinge of happiness hearing "THESE REFS SUCK" shouted in unison. Honestly, the fucking fans should get to vote for refs, because the current system is garbage.

Funny. In another game in that series, they let one of the trail blazers trip Aaron Brooks and he was about to go for 14 in :25 seconds. Look up Aaron Brooks 11 and it should come up. The refs sucked for both sides and this clip is direct proof. The calls weren't for the rockets or against the blaZers. The refs just suck

@LtotheAKE so you're saying the refs in the NBA are quality refs and there's no way a 30 point loss has been influenced by the officiating? being a smaller market...Portland's seen some HORRIBLE officiating. but they've never broken into a chant to berate the refs like this. and it was warrented. this was one of the poorest officiated games i've ever seen. you'd be surprised how easy it is to get up by 30 points when you're allowed to hack the opposing team every possession and not get a foul
