~About "This Ole House"~
I had to sell my mother's home due to her poor health conditions. Although I tried to keep her in her home, my
efforts, funds and emotions were exhausted. Selling her items to try to keep her in her home was a task I don't think I will ever forget. A task I wish I never had to do. It's not only sad to slowly say goodbye to my mother and all her cherished possesions - but it was also very sad to say goodbye to my childhood home. I wrote this song. "This Ole' House"

Very special and heartfelt. The place my mom and dad use to own was in the little town of Marnaduke , Arkansas. It lost the roof in a tornado a few years back but it was still standing last time I saw it. Thank you for posting this video and it sure brings back some great memories. --:)Rod
