I was shocked at the stupidity of krikse87. This reel will help thousands of handicapped children and adults be more independent. I myself would love to have one for my 12 year old boy who suffered a TBI and is now partially paralyzed on his left side. By the way, my son is no idiot.
@bjc5com Thanks for the support. We make adaptive fishing rods at the rehab engineering shop in Craig Hospital. The gear is built as a volunteer project for the cost of materials. Labor is free. We are currently doing free float fishing trips in Wyoming and Montana. Will be back in the shop sometime in August. Electric reel cost $150.00.
