Rotacaster Omniwheel animation

The rotacaster omni-wheel is a multidirectional wheel that provides the ability to move in any direction whilst mounted in a fixed position by using rollers rather than a swivel mount. The Rotacaster is used on a variety of OEM applications including the Mono Bike by Momentum Bikes.

While multidirectional wheels are used throughout the world in conveyor applications, the rotacaster omni wheel is the only one manufactured for use as a floor wheel, providing the sole alternative to the swivel castor.

Manufactured from engineering polymer, the injection moulded web like structure of the wheel body and the over-moulded rollers, provide a durable and robust wheel with no pins, inserts or seams making it ideal for tough environments.

The fixed orientation of the omniwheel facilitates both simple and stable mounting alternatives that are less prone to impact damage and allow the wheel to be housed within a product with minimal space or clearance requirements.
