Truly my favorite interpretation. Besides he plays the Kreisler cadenza which is my favorite by far. Joachim's cadenza might be the legitimate one according to musicologist nerds but Kreisler's is based on the second theme; this little waltzing and bittersweet tune that everybody goes crazy for! There's also a cadenza by Max Reger (to be found on Bernstein recording with Kremer), it's interesting bu not as good.
