DIY iPod/Aux Connection to 08 Lancer DE/ES Stock Radio

This is how-to to take apart your dash and radio and make your own cable that allows you to hook up your iPod to your car's stock radio on an 08 Lancer DE/ES without the Sun and Sound package. This is only for the Lancers that do not already have an RCA/Aux port in the center console.

I'll do a follow-up video explaining the wiring and stuff after I get my display fixed some time this week.

i know that people have been asking you this but i havent really found an answer, what size are the gauge terminals? i installed the wire with them and the sound quality isnt that great, ive been to radio shack and autozone and i couldnt find them. im probably looking in the wrong place, any advice would help... great video by the way, it really helped!

i have a 2005 galant where did you find your info? I hooked up an amplifier and subwoofer in my car connected to the factory stereo.. So now i Just want to connect my ipod to my factory stereo..

I went to plug in the AUX cable to the back of the stereo but the spots in the bracket were already in use. if you can help at all i can e-mail you pics.
