Is there any difference between 9x receiver and HK orange TR6A receiver?
-
today i just crashed a plane with this radio, took off well but 20 seconds into the flight, and the radio just didnt answer to my movements, i tried to turn the aircraft and suddenly it made a roll, after that it went out of control and ka-boom.

Thank You, for a great review, what kit would I buy to do your conversion and where is the best place to buy them from? You should open a Hobby Shop you would make a lot of money!

I have had nothing but issues with the turnigy radio. It has been responsible for the demise of two planes now and I am done until I can get the frsky dyi kit. Besides the frsky, is there any others I can use with this transmitter?

@VETTE811 In mode 1 the throttle is on the right and in mode 2 the throttle is on the left. Very important to know, otherwise you'll have problems...

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE OF THE TURNAGY 9 CH MODE 1 AND 9CH MODE 2????? AND ARE THEY ANY DIFFERENT FROM THE FLY SKY 9 CH
-
Ya I have seen the smaller 6 channel reciver for the 9x but I cant seem to find one anywhere. There not on hobbyking or even ebay for that matter. If I cant find one, ill try to use another brand that has been known to work
-
@homebrewman23 The 6-channel receiver is a much better size, especially when you take a look inside the 8-channel one and realize how much smaller they could have made it if they'd tried.
Thanks for sharing the video!!! Great! Wich one would you recommend, Spektrum DX6/7 or the Turnig 9X? thanks

@NeoAndersonn It depends. The 9X sure offers a lot more "bang for your buck" but the Spektrum is perhaps better suited to those who might never have used an RC system before. The 9X is certainly a lot more resistant to interference and performs much better than the Spektrum but the Spektrum is a more complete package with good manuals. I fly with a 9X 95% of the time and have no Spektrum gear -- if that tells you anything.

Bruce, do you find that the 9x feels a bit bum-heavy? I always use a neck strap and found that the position of the loop on the radio is too high, resulting in the radio requiring more effort to hold it horizontal (as compared to my DX6i anyway).
KaldekBoch 11 months ago
@KaldekBoch I don't use a neckstrap -- I work out a lot and my arms are strong enough to hold the radio without one :-) I sometimes wonder whether I should try a strap but after 40 years of flying without one it just feels unnatural.

What was the range, I test mine for many flights without problems but sudennly everytime y turn to landing position suddenly turns ailerons like crazy!!! What could it be. Range 300 mts

@ocastanontube I think you may be suffering from the dreaded effects of FlySky/Turnigy's lack of quality control. The unit I tested had over 500m of ground-rage so should be good to two or three times that in the air at least.
