  • I agree with cutting off the distortion. And playing during commercials is an excellent idea.

  • Hmmm. Thanks for the constructive criticism, but is there anything specific I could do better?

  • @JonathanReichert Shred...?

  • @labtennis0827 watching less TV is a good idea as well :P

  • dude fuck that guy youre doin great

  • great vid!! one thing i am finding about my practice is that when i begin to get frustrated or tired of my sound i practice something totally different, country ,jazz, shred .......the best tip i have ever gotten is practice what your NOT good at. dont spend too much time on your already developed skills

  • I just feel like I will never become a good guitar player I play for 4 years now and I don't really feel a big big progress....depressing -.- But thank you for the tips!

  • @labtennis0827 i agree too you have to start off without distortion to get it down.. but you also have to practice alot with distortion because as much as distortion covers up mistakes it can exploit more too..because the notes sound alot easier with distorion.. so practice both alot especially if the song demands distortion

  • @LOVELIFE54 coldnt agree more

  • i always have a guitar next to me when i'm on the computer or watching tv. maybe that's why i got pretty good pretty fast.

  • I've been told for years to never use distortion. It's a temptation unto itself. I usually just don't plug in. Then I'll give it about 30 mins a day and let it go.

  • Nice tips that obviously come from experience distilled.
