@jordanbuns Wrong, read what you wrote. There are different kinds of pullups for different muscle areas. Pullups are a vertical pulling movement. So either way you cut it tension is going to be on the lats. How much tension depends on how strict you do the movement. In this case it's crossfit so it calls for kipping pullups, strict pullups would be close to impossible for 30 a set. Take care buddy. Keep up the studying.;)

I hate the way they do pullups. How the hell is that supposed to build your lats? I'll stick with my old fashioned pullups. Everybody I've ever seen that trains using crossfit methods seems to be just average. I want to be above average.

This workout is terrible for building any type of muscle strength...controlled movements develop the best strength and muscle definition. What the heck with the pull not ups?
