13. Vermont Long Trail - Northern Vermont C..wmv

The last day of hiking on the Vermont Long Trail. It started out rainy, slippery, and nasty. I was in very poor spirits. My patience was shaking. As the day wore on, though, the weather cleared up and by the time I reached the summit of Jay Peak, it was one of the most beautiful days on the trail. It all ends at the Canadian border with another spectacular view and a moment of reflection.

@andrewsheldonreeves I only slack packed two days of this hike. The rest of the time, I was truly thru-hiking. The further I go in my hiking, the more I realize how great the Long Trail really is. I would reccomend it to anyone interested in long distance hiking.
