The Pedal Powered Prime Mover teams up with the 58 Farad Maxwell Ultracapacitor to re-power a Makita 6211 D 12 Volt drill. Punching 1/4 inch holes in a 2x4 is no problem for this combination. See more at http://www.los-gatos.ca.us/davidbu/pedgen.html
not trying to steal anyones thunder. people are ok to about 100 rpm. magnet motors dont need to go as fast as an alternator but you need to make control gear. check my bike gen out on my channel . also its hard for a human to produce more than 100 watts for a long time. if you gear it right you dont have to pedal fast but you have to pedal harder.

you don't need to pedal very fast to make the drill work!!! How fast are you pedaling (rpm) and what is the necessary rpm the generator need to produce 12V DC. Thanks
