I figured, since I uploaded the premiere of $hopping $pree, why not upload the premiere of the show that debuted along with it on the same day? The New Shop 'Til You Drop, the 1996-98 Family Channel revival of the popular Lifetime game show. The format is the same, the set is nearly the same, and even Pat Finn is the same, but the only difference is that Mark Walberg has been replaced by Jason Grant Smith.

  • @jamstar1 So do I.

  • 20:56 thumbs up if you remember service merchandise, I know I do.

  • me and my mom use to watch this show when i was a kid. good times.

  • It is nice to have several old episodes of Shop Til You Drop on YouTube. For all you users out there if anybody has more episodes you should burn them to a DVD so you can upload them. It would be great to see more episodes from the first few seasons.

  • The New StyD marked the 1st time that the fonts in the closing credits changed and the Jason Grant Smith-announced eps. of The New STYD was also the only time in the entire Pat Finn edition that long closing credits would utilize carded-motion closing credits, instead of scrolling long credits, seen on many Stone-Stanley game shows.

  • @TVLubber It's true, it was on the Lifetime network but it was moved to the Family Channel and was called the New Shop til you Drop.

  • THe set didn't change in 1997 IIRC, but it did change when JD Roberto took over the PAX run around 2003. Mark Walberg was busy with The Big Date on USA at this point, as his 1995-96 syndicated talk show crashed and burned in one season.
