The snake in this video is a ball python, not an invasive species like the Burmese python. Ball pythons are small snakes (usually around 4 feet long, as compared to the 20 foot + Burmese python) and are therefore less likely to become invasive. Also, ball pythons are terrestrial snakes and develop health problems quickly living in such a wet environment. Therefore, I certainly do not see ball pythons thriving in a sewer system, much less reproducing.

@kingbooforums Rats often insure or even kill snakes. That's why many snake owners prefer to feed dead rats.
