Anyone is welcome to add English and Japanese captions to this video:

(just paste the link to this video after clicking "Specific Video...")
If you want, you could make three separate Japanese tracks for romaji, all kana, and kana/kanji. The transcripts of the skits are in the textbooks. You can email me the captions at japloosh@gmail.com

  • does your name mean forever21? lol. i like that store too.

  • umm no they're completely different

tsukatte comes from the verb tsukau meaning to use

tsukete from tsukeru meaning to turn on something (lights, TV, or in this case the AC)

kono tsukue o tsukatte kudasai means Please use this desk

kuuraa o tsuketemo ii desu ka means Can I turn on the AC?

  • does "tsukate"(kono tsukue o tsukatte kudasai) and "tsukete"(kura o tsuketemo ii desu ka?) has the same meaning?

  • ok

    mite

is a verb used for 'see'

verb+mo ii desu ka means asking for permission

    e.g

    tabete means eat

tabetemo ii desu ka (may I eat)

  • you add "temo ii desu ka" to the verb. to ask just add "temo ii desu ka" to the verb. yondemo ii desuka? is it okat if i read it? see.

  • LOL NAN
