This is another video presenting how to scan a very fragile chinese booklet, with the automatic book scanner ScanRobot SR301.
The ScanOperator shows at the beginning the special characteristic of that kind of books = the folded and uncut (doubled) pages. The ScanRobot is handlng the digitization object in very gentle way.
The scanned images are displayed on color calibrated monitor in realtime for the quality check.

  • Hope the software has a quick button to flip all those upside down pages after scanning.

  • @delackner: Yes, they have such a function, especially for such cases.

  • you are scanning it upside down :)

  • @electronixtar: Yes, you areright :-) As we was not familiar with this language we scanned it upside down. But as we have several software correcion function like 180 degree page rotation, we rotated every page automatically and we sorted the book pages again after rotation.
