Probably not a good idea taking it off from the grass. If you must, it'll most likely work if the grass is real short. You can always hand launch it if you can't find a an area to take off.

Hi I recently bought the same plane, but I was unsure how to attach the rudder. the manual tells me to attach the linkage rod to the rudder and screw the bolt, but Im unsure how to do this. please help me :) thanks

i bought the same one from hobby lobby foam pos the f-18 is much better at least it will fly. that was the last edf FOAM plane i have bought never again if is dose not have a prop i don't wast my money on it.that's what a pos edf plane's are IMHO.
