Circuit Bent Keyboard: "The Acid Childhood"

A testament to my love of body contacts.

This thing acts differently every time I turn it on. I have no idea why. All the body contacts act as a patchbay that you route and re-route with your fingers. Interesting note: The 1/4" output jack I installed also functions as a contact.

If anyone knows the name of the keyboard, I would like to know (the sticker was torn when i got it). I want to track down a couple more of these things!

Update (Obituary):

It died today (09/29/08). I was showing it off to some friends and it fried itself. I will forever be kicking myself because i forgot to add what might have saved it: a hard-reset switch to interrupt battery power. I put them on everything else I've bent, just forgot for this one :(. Sucks, cause this thing was awesome...

I wish I knew what year keyboard this was. I don't even know the brand for sure. The label was torn off when I bought it ($5 @ Value Village).

Awesome. I found a cheap toy keyboard on a flea market, let's see if it's any good for bending.
