The police are acting unreasonable, but at the same time I don't think its fair for Teh Gang to blame them too hard for not being able to believe in the magical fantasy shadowland which you get to by jumping inside the TV and then using your super mental persona powers to fight evil goo-demons and manifestations of peoples' true selves. Nooooot sure that would stand up in court.
