I wonder if he does this because of being a WW2 POW, I don't know but he would have had no control and choices would have been taken away from him. Perhaps he does this now that he has freedom and control over his life?

While Mr Trebus was clearly affected by his wartime experiences, would those on here attacking those who tried to help him have chosen live next door to him? With all the rats, rubbish and a garden as an open toilet? No. So shut up being idiots.
A least one newspaper gave him an obit of what was known of his life, a later show filmed him happy in a nursing home too, before his death - NOT in 'police custody'. (God, the idiots who comment on here!)

Hi no he died in 2002, in a nursin home cant remeber the Name. his death death was featured in a later series of life of grime, sadly i dont have that show well at lease i dont think i have. the counsil and that kept visiting him at that nursing home. tihnk because of them visiting him and fines of over 50,000 for clearing the hoise and agrden that they droven him to his grave.
