World of Color - ADA Comparison

Update: I have been informed that the accesible sections have been returned to the old sections (although, there are conflicting reports that they are not quite where they used to be).

The World of Color show at Disneyland had originally offered a accessible locations more towards the front of the Amphitheater, providing an optimum viewing location. These locations worked well for over a year. Beginning the end of June or beginning of July 2011, they moved the Accessible locations to the rear of the Amphitheater, putting those that have to sit (due to no choice of their own) behind those that have to stand per policy.

This video should demonstrate the view from each location, the view on the right is from the old location in the Yellow section, the one on the left is from the "Guest Relations" section, which is right next to the new location in the Yellow Section. Both are taken from approximately eye level when sitting, using a Gorillapod. In order to do the side by side, I had to crop the Videos, I did my best to crop them as equally as possible.

It should also be noted that in the new section, people will often put kids on their shoulders, further blocking the view (as demonstrated in the attached video).

I believe that most will agree with me that the new locations offer a very poor view. It should also be noted that the many of the new locations are also obstructed by various pieces of equipment.
