SHREVEPORT POLICE CAR CRASH

A Shreveport police patrol car was involved in a roll over accident, on April 21, 2009, in the Northwestern Louisiana city. The police officer was identified at Cpl. Vincent Baurichter who suffered minor injuries in the accident. According to local reporting, Baurichter swerved to avoid striking a pick-up truck while the officer was on his way to a call. If it was indeed the officer identified in the description, I know him personally. He is a careful and thoughtful person, and approaches his job with a better set of ethics and morals than most people I know. Accidents happen...by the way, I'm not defending all police officers. There have been many cops who give reason for criticism, just not this one.
