Fender Strat + Fender Blues Junior + Maxon OD808

Just putting something up to prove I'm alive really. Ive noticed theres not many sound clips of the Maxon OD808 overdrive pedal, so I decided to give a very brief demonstration of that whilst testing my new Presonus Firebox. Dont take too much notice of my playing - I was tired, probably hung-over and not in a very creative mood so that was all I could muster.

If anyone can shed some light on why Im getting such a weak signal through my Firebox, thatd be great. I had to amplify the recording quite significantly using Audacity.

For now, this is all I can do. But I am planning to do an in-depth demo of the Maxon OD808 and a few other pedals. Take care folks and stay tuned!

@PF1964 Yes. Depends on how much you use it/how hard your pushing them. But usually every couple of years.

The XD has more bells and whistles but the Blues Jr is just a better sounding amp.

i got a jr it has so much treble. i roll the treble back on it and my strat it helps. mine sounds like a loud tone box. great playing!
