In light of the recent controversy surrounding JCPenney choosing the openly gay Ellen DeGeneres as a spokesperson, the Los Angeles dance community, family, and friends gathered together to show their love and support by countering hate with dance by performing in front of a JCPenney store. With dance as one of the hallmarks of the Ellen DeGeneres show, what better way to "Show the LOVE, and Stop the Hate" than doing what Ellen loves most: DANCE!

If JCP didn't welcome heterosexuals it'd be hard to stay in business and just as bad as establishments kicking out gay individuals just because they're gay. Also, like krmommy917 said, they didn't choose her as their spokes person because she's gay. That had nothing to do with it. They chose her because she is an amazing, caring person who only wants people to be happy.
