I love how they say how noble washington was for turning down coronation and seem to forget that napoleon was a revolutionary...
-
7:47 so fake lol
-
u cant compare napoleon with washington .americans have nothing they trying to make up shit typical american bullshit
-
@willian32976 yeah its a little weird that the french are getting rid of accuracy for speed I mean whats up with that
-
only a loser would say speed is everything!!! what good is it, if you miss your target with quicker fire and more rounds? its far better to take a little longer and hit your target in the 1st or 2nd shot!!! no wonder why the french are always surrendering!!! their blowing all their ammo with very few kills!!!
-
btw, where are parts 4 and 5?
-
Volleyfire was NOT devised to counteract a "Lack of Accuracy"...
-
YEAH, 4 Shots, respectively 1 Shot, that is a HUGE Number of Trials to base Scientific Conclusions upon...NOT
-
Napoleon was NEVER part of the attacking force. he suffered from problems in his gut which caused his daily pain. he was either on his horse commanding from the rear or at a table at the rear commanding the troops. he never actually took part in the combat.

@EgyptPrinceOf actually Napoleon DIDN'T have rifles. he DID have skirmishers but they were armed with muskets he preferred getting shots of quicker than accuracy becuase HE was always on the offensive.
They say bad things about Napoleon and nothing bad about George Washington. I gotta admit, I like the show, but this episode is biased in favor of George Washington IMO. For example, George Washington wasn't the best at commanding cavalry, but this is never mentioned. Napoleon sacrificed many men (mass cav charges, infantry attacks in columns) because he saw no need for conserving manpower, as conscripts would simply take the place of the killed.

Also keep in mind that Washington had 2 guns: a musket and a rifle, against Napoleon's one musket. Obviously G.W. would win that round. They fail to mention the Napoleon had rifles as well; every army had some skirmishers in their forces. The Old Guard would tear apart any militia, and whoever has the best cannons has a higher chance of winning battles. The sim. for this episode is also incorrect, it should have been 10 guys, not 5, it's way too small like that.
