A very young Muse played the Battle of the Bands at the English Riviera Centre in Torquay on Saturday 26th of November 1994.

My friend's band also played also played that night, I am sure this was the only remaining video of the event. Enjoy this rare glimpse of an amazing band before they found their sound.

I have also been informed that this was Muse's 1st real gig but I cannot confirm that.

I've been informed that the songs are as follows: in no particular order: Weakening Walls, Yellow Regret, Small Minded, Pointless Loss and A Turn To Stone

Listening to this, I can so easily now understand Muse's history. They went from this underground, trashy sound, and it evolved over time. You can hear it in Showbiz and Origin. And it's changed into the beautifully harmonious, yet still exciting, Muse of late.
