  • how is the light?

  • @038971 I take it you mean the backlighting at night? its alright, not great tho. they shine light around the gauge face with a single bulb..i think a #194. i have pretty good vision, and i still have to squint at these things at night. Theyre more expensive, but gauges with the "light thru" feature are much much better.

  • they're Autometer Ultra-lites. nothing special. they have 1/4 sweeps for cheap and 1/2 sweeps for a little more...their illumination isnt great tho.

  • do the stock gauges still work too?

  • no. i suppose you could splice the sender wires to both the autometer and stock gauges, but why bother. The stock water/oil gauges arent very accurate anyway.

  • does that have a turbo or super charger or anything im just wondering because i want to put a oil pressure gauge in my 08 caliber r/t 5 speed not sure if it will work or not . any thoughts

  • N/A. im sure a blower or turbine wont effect an electric oil pressure gauge. Id be more concerned about routeing the oil feed and return very carefully if turbocharged.
