@charliemurphyslaw because the constitution protects everyone, and we who defend the constitution defend their right to believe as they wish. The Militia shouldnt be partizen towards any political party. Better that we look at the individual who is running. there are good Democrats, Republicans, Libretartians etc. as much as bad ones. Supporting the constitution means protecting EVERYONE. Thats what makes the militia different. we dont just talk the talk, we walk the walk.

While I whole heartedly support the states rights to have their own militia which is seperate from the national guard that can be federalized, I dont see that they would truly be effective if the full might of a modern army was unleashed against them. They would be organized in relatively small groups, with limited supplies and man power. Little or no heavy equipment(Tanks, planes, etc) They would also be the first individuals our govt would come for if the situation in the country deteriorated

@QCREIGN Thanks for the support and your right, no common sense militiaman would ever be so foolish as to engage a modern military force in open battle. Our tactics reflect that of guerrilla fighters like in the Revolutionary war and in many other similiar conflicts. It is MY PERSONAL OPINION (just to be clear) that a decentralized resistance is by far superior to the standard pyramid military model because its an indestructible "hydra".

First of all, we do NOT need a Militia because we are NOT invaded buy our enemies. 2nd) If you are so obsess to fight, then join Blackwater,French Foreign Legion,Spanish Foreign Legion,Mercenaries, or contractor. 3) Waste of time & stupid.
