Why the possible auction of valuable radio spectrum known as the "D Block" could hinder communications by first responders for generations to come.

  • @maclaurin00 why would you think they should share the same frequency? they dont share the same equipment or mission. first responders rarely have security clearances that would enable them to have access to military installations. they both need the space to do their job. why would you want to interfere with the military frequency by squishing emergency services on to them?

  • Why can't our police / firefighters / etc also use the same radio frequency as the military? i definitely see the importance, but it would be helpful to see all bandwidths that are out there and who has control over each one...just a thought in terms of making this understood by all people...
