I normally don't comment to these but I had the same question as to her crying scene. I remember seeing this now in Mirror, Mirror from the Slayers special, "book of spells". This is the one where her and naga was running around together and the shadow mirror created an opposite of Lina who cried and didn't want to fight her. (watch you'll see what I'm saying).
As for the vid, this is a really good vid. I can see how much work you put into it, good job!!

Wow! You've done quite a good job there.
I've always been wondering how anyone could create an "alternative Xellos/Lina ending" from episodes definitely supporting Lina/Gourry. Since LG is my Slayers-OTP, I didn't watch it - until I was really curious today.^^;
And my very objective opinion is that you put a lot of thought and effort into this and the "amv" really tells its own story. 5/5 (from an L/G fangirl, so be proud^^)
