IMO, I thought the on-screen interpretation was the slim athletic robo that the DX toy SHOULD have been; the hips are way too big on this toy.

No, the stripes didn't mean anything, even in "GekiRanger". Notice that Geki Tiger/Red Tiger had 3 orange spots as well, so that negates your theory.

@MrJalenjalen i agree, he nitpicks too much on the littlethings like "oh the elbows should have been articulated and the legs should ratchet at the hip and on and on"

if someone wants articulated megazords or robos, they should get the retrofires or just deal with it.
