  • where is the hip rotation?...this is all shoulders no core

  • the proof is in the pudding lol....dont question him

  • Awesome shoulder workout! Core....no.

  • @Poga7 Thanks for pointing this out to the morons on here. Obviously some of these people have never chopped wood in their lives, or else they would know it's all about power/speed.

  • "Cable woodchop"? get outdoors, go get an axe

  • Is this video sped up? Lol.

  • Keep your hips facinf forward. Do not let them go to either side. For more of a challenge keep your feet closer together. Good luck you fat-ass Americans!

  • He is kinda moving his arms more than I would, but not to the point that it's wrong. He's still getting the main part of the exercise in, he's just doing more with his shoulders than I would do. If the point is to get a good cardio workout in (as is the point with a tri-set) then the extra movement probably increases the cardio side of it without harming the exercise.

  • First off he's not doing it wrong - he's doing it RIGHT!!!

When you're activating your core and doing "chops" you need to use speed. You'll notice that, although he's using speed he is not flailing his arms - they're rigid and firm. He's getting a torque as he twists and chops; that's what you want.

Second, the device he's using is from Free Motion Fitness and retails around $3500-$4000 depending on whether you go for full commercial grade or light commercial.

    Thanks.

  • you are doing all of them wrong. should be an abs exercise, and you could only be rotating at the hips
