Man, this sure brings back memories. I thought Frank had a great voice and I tried to aspire to be like him. I was trained in radio telephone broadcasting, got my license in 1967 and sent demo tapes to KTKT but I didn't have a snowball's chance in hell. Too green and no connections. Just a poor kid from the south side of town (Pueblo Gardens). I got some interviews at KHOS and KWFM, but the same thing applied, not enough experience, great voice, just not enough juice.
