Why people over 70 should't drive, old lady ramming me and car in a petrol station

A nice old dear (80 years old) decided to confuse her accelerator and brake in a petrol station, cue impressive avoidance of other stationary vechiles before crashing into me (mangled foot but healing) and my car (write off) and knocking it into the petrol pump. Impact speed is thought to have been about 20mph....

Quite how she managed to avoid the more obvious things to hit is one thing I still haven't figured out

As you can see from where my shoe ended up I saw her just before shet hit me and jumped clear except for one foot which got caught between the cars.

If you wonder why I hobble out the way quite quickly that will be because of the petrol that's gone all over the place and what with all the hot engines it was not a great place to stay.

@GreenDay1981 yep true you said it perfectly. i was on the freeway the other day & it didnt happen to me but i was behind them & saw everything, the old person was in the other lane to the left of us & the other person was in front of me & for some reason that old person just went over didnt even look to see that there was a car right there, the old lady didnt signal nothing & it was almost an accident but quick thinking the car in front of me swerved she had a dug out thing so she was lucky.

According to research, the majority of accidents are caused by 2 different groups of people: teens and the elderly. The difference is teens are learning. Old people should know better. They are a hazard on the road and should be FORCED to retake the driving test or else have their license taken away. They're too stupid to know what the speed limit is and their slow asses always pull out in front of people forcing good drivers like myself to hit my brakes. Asshole old farts.
