Hello everyone, this is my latest song. It's about an unlucky guy, whose life doesn't work out the way he would have wanted.

Ron very kindly added some instrumentation and vocals to this, I cannot thank him enough as I think it really makes the song. You will find his great channel here.

Lyric:

It's another rainy day
I'm thinking of far away
It's just another run down town
Where I stay, where I stay

I'm called a victim of circumstance
I can't write but I can dance
What good is that to me now?
On the streets of a run down town
Where I stay

I never worked at school
They never worked me out
I was the boy on the broken chair
With the lonely stare

I never have felt so low
People judge, but they don't know.
I'm just another drunken clown
From the streets of a run down town
In their way

I never worked at school
They never worked me out
I was the boy on the broken chair
With the lonely stare
And I can't find no understanding
Mother leaves me on the landing
I can't find no love to last me
Father goes and never tells me
The bastards never said goodbye
To their boy, with the broken heart

It's another rainy day
I'm somewhere far away
In another overgrown grave
Where I lay, where I lay

  • Duncan, you inspire me greatly. It awes me that you don't have more views. You honestly have earned more views than you currently have. Your voice is gorgeous, and your piano is absolutely enchanting...
