Today on lunch me and my sister came across a dog locked in a car for over 20minutes. Police did not show up so we got the car door open ourselves to let air in the car.
The owner showed up 30minutes later and did not know it is illegal to leave a dog in the car. She also was carrying a dog in her purse as an accessory. If she would do it to a dog, she will do it to a baby!

  • @prettykitty345 I think the OP was saying it was 40°C, not 40°F. 40°C would equal 104°F. I think their clothing is a bit too light for near freezing temps.

  • It's got nothing to do with air tight it's to do with lack of oxygen, dehydration and then system failure. It's the same as a person sitting in a desert. All the air in the world but the heat causes dehydration and then the organs fail. Heart pumps faster but due to lack of water in system fails. This woman is stupid and her dogs should be removed from her..

  • Because a car that is not on will get "hot" in 40 degree weather...I am glad she was told that she should not have left him in there, but it would not have died. Cars are not air tight so it would not have run out of air, and if you said it was 40 degree weather it would not have been over-heated...

  • Good job! Thanks for educating this woman.
