I don't mean this in the slightest form of offense whatsoever, but I was watching an interview of Marié talking about a bad day or something...the video is called "Uncensored Interview: Marie Digby's Performance With Ashanti And Paulina Rubio," and my mom basically shouted, "WHAT ARE YOU WATCHING?" "Golly, Mom. Just some interview for this girl" "...How old is she?" "I don't know, 15, 16...teen-ager" "Oh...she looked like your aunt or something"Ha ha ha WHAT? I think Marie is young & beautiful:)

My mistake - I hadn't looked on Wikipedia before posting, it seems her father is Irish American meaning there is American blood in her family after all :) It doesn't really matter what race/ colour/ ethnicity her family are, all that's important is that we know it's a fantastic mix because Marie is an amazing person in every way possible! I've heard her mention at least one of her sisters in videos too, and that one is a music video producer, so they are obviously pretty great too!

Technically Irish Amerasian (although I use the term Amerasian not in its original sense). Her father is Irish (Northern Irish I think) and her mother is Japanese. I'm not sure when her parents moved to America or if they have always lived there, but that's where the american accent comes from. I don't actually think there's any American blood in her family but they are obviously US citizens. Anyone more knowledeable on this please correct me if I am wrong :)
