  • Well done, I built that model once and the fusalage ended up lilke a banana but that flight just proved that if built well and with rubber/prop mods it can fly fantastically!!

  • @duffythewhitedog Thanks for the comment! The one thing to remember is to use a decent amount of glue to make sure the model is strong!

  • wow now that was cool where can someone get one of them if anyone knows please tell me thank you....wow

  • @paigefive You can buy them on the internet...just google "Guillows Javelin" to find a hobby store that sells them or get one on EBAY! They're like $12.00 or so plus a few bucks for shipping.

  • i have been playing with the cheap 4$ balsa wood guillow planes and just wanna know if making these planes that have tissue and framework hard to make.

  • @blufilmsesa They aren't necessarily "hard" to build per say, but you need to have a little bit of modeling skill and patience. You have to be willing to read the instructions and pay attention to details if you want them to turn out nice and actually fly.

  • @cooltheengines thank you my friend i'll do that...

  • @MissileMist No, I just used regular colored tissue paper from Hobby Lobby.

    Thanks for the nice comment!

  • I take my hat off to you. Amazing flight! Did you use real Japanese tissue to cover it with? That's the way a model should fly!!! Thanks

  • @MrCray100 I'm really not sure. I used my cordless drill with a little hook in the chuck to wind it up. Probably 800 - 1,0000 turns would be my best guess. The great thing about the Javelin model is that it has a long body so you can put a long rubber motor in it and get more turns!
