  • I'm amazed that you made it past North Ave.

I lived in Balto. a few years back and as I recall, North and Greenmount (aprox. 4 blks from ST Paul) was one of those areas that if you get a flat tire, you drove on it until you reached a safer place.

    Maybe things have changed...

  • Well, there are better areas in town....but I wasnt really worried about any problems happening that night, even if the sled broke down in that area.

  • @bobg57 i live in Toronto, and i'd never thought i'd see the day of a snowmobile in downtown baltimore!!!!! awesome! i went to prep school in cecil county years ago, and i don't remember you guys getting too much snow. was this a freak storm? do u guys in maryland have any groomed trails -maybe over towards west virgina and pennsylvania???? i can't imagine u have enough snow in baltimore and suburbs to sled.

  • @jimmym4205 dude i was fucking amazed too me and my buddys where out to 6 oclock in the moring riding quads dude and we got a call from are other buddy at like 12 sayin where we where at he he meet up with us on his fucking snowmobile too bad we wont get to see a nother snowmobile out on the streets for years to come haha but we will still be riden a quads every year lol

  • Got to ride many different towns this year from leaving my house! Not normal! Everyone amazed when they see the snowmobiles! LOl Rode 1034 miles this yr compared to 295 in the last 5 yrs! I dont travel, hope the snow keeps treating us well for the upcoming yrs! ohio jim

  • I am sure the Fort Kent area has snow...but thats too far too travel.

  • yeah. I think way up in Northern Maine close to Canada they probably have some good snow but southern New Hamshire and Vermont seem to be pretty bad. Most years it would just be a waste of money to have trails and groomers down south but this is a wierd winter. I'm jelous of you guys. I don't ride sleds but I ski so the snow conditions haven't been all that great.

  • its pretty bad in Old Forge too...all up north seems bad...too bad their are no trails/groomers here...would add money to tourism.

  • I see. Thats a long drive to get to good trails. It's pretty bad up here in New England snow wise. I'm suprised the trails are staying open.
