I am so sorry about your mother. How scary that must have been and it is totally understandable why you'd choose lap-band over RNY. I think it is brave of you to go through the surgery at all. I think I would be very scared regardless but from your more recent videos it looks like you are doing well. Congrats!

I have just started to look into LapBand and my mother already asked the Doctor if it was a good idea! he said yes but he would like me to get gastric rather than LapBand. I WILL NOT get gastric because in my mind it's too risky and also cutting an organ is not right in my mind......but chocking one is ok with me.... ^_^ . Anyway why do you think Doctors try to change your mind about LapBand?

omg im so sorry about your mothers passing. My mothers going in for the bypass and now im so scard for her to get it she wants the lap band but she thinks she's too big .
